About KCPC
London's Hub for Advanced Algorithmic Training
Overview
The King’s Competitive Programming Club (KCPC) is a semi-independent, high-performance academic initiative founded under support from KCL Tech, created to establish a formal competitive programming, problem-setting, and algorithmic research presence in London.
KCPC addresses a long-standing absence within the capital’s university ecosystem by uniting high-performing students across the UK and internationally.
Engage in elite-level algorithmic training programs
Collaborate on advanced problem creation and research
Participate in structured competitive programming pipelines
Beginning February 2025, KCPC operates in collaboration with KCL Tech, with full KCLSU ratification planned for the next academic year.
Committee Structure
The Internal Committee serves as KCPC's central governance body. Elected under KCLSU requirements, they hold authority over strategy, institutional alignment, and partnerships.
The External Committee functions as KCPC's operational body. Appointed based on merit, they execute training, contests, and events.
“To transform London into a global hub for competitive programming excellence — integrating academia, industry, and innovation through collaboration, technical mastery, and international partnership.”
